St. Matthew’s Board of Management is responsible for the direct governance and management of the school, on behalf of the patron, ensuring it is run in accordance with the law and also with our ethos.

The BOM’s key functions include setting school policies, overseeing resources and finances, ensuring a safe and positive environment for students, and working with the principal to develop the school's vision and plan so St. Matthew’s continues to offer the best and most rounded education possible to the children here.

The BOM is accountable to the school's patron and to the Department of Education.

Our principal, Cliodhna O’Reilly, is responsible for day-to-day management of the school’s affairs.
